In early 2022 I retired from the active “drive to the office” workforce and returned to my writing from home office full time. As a sort of celebration to being free and a way to jump start some inspirational data gathering I decided to go on a five week road trip with my husband and dog. Our plan is to travel the old “main” highway across the US from the midwest to the southwest. From Chicago to Santa Monica. The story and pictures will be chronicled here, so let’s get ready to go!
