It’s time to run to the library or your favorite bookstore, dear readers! According to The Guardian, the Utah State Board of Education just banned 13 books throughout the entire state’s public education system. One author in particular had several books banned. Of her books that were banned, they total more than 10 million collective reviews averaging over 4 (closer to 4.5). Whether or not you like the author, that’s an overwhelming show of support!
If you haven’t read these authors it’s time to check them out! There’s nothing like a good old fashioned (truly old fashioned) book banning to generate interest in reading.
