A few Amble Road residents gathered for the third annual carving of the pumpkin. This year we couldn’t get the Sonos system and the correct iPhone to work together so we had to forgo the spooky music. Imagine, if you will, songs like “Thriller”, “I Put a Spell on You” and “Monster Mash” playing in the background. However, there’s a teenager in the group so we did have the requisite visual special effects.
It’s not rocket science, but it might be brain surgery! Funny how no two insides are alike on a pumpkin. Color, consistency, seed size and quantity…not to mention smell.
One little slip of the knife and it’s curtains for one of the pumpkins. Nothing goes to waste with this group though.
This guy turned out really happy looking despite a horribly botched nose job!
