A week ago I visited Quarryhill Botanical Gardens in Glen Ellen, California. It was my first time to the gardens and the weather was beautiful. It is a recently developed (it’s about 25 years old) Asian focused garden attempting to gather, grow and protect wild gathered Asian plants into Northern California.
Minnesota was dry and cold through most of May so I was desperately ready for a view of spring when I landed in San Francisco. Glen Ellen is a quaint and quiet town nestled between Napa and Sonoma valleys and Quarryhill gave me just the shot I needed.
Here are a few of the photos from the visit.
